Momo’s
Momo’s is a fascinating place in a beautiful alley,
off Regent Street. The club is in the basement and the restaurant on the ground floor. It has an excellent atmosphere and
superb Moroccan food. The waiters are professional and charming. Been to Momo’s multiple times and never had a bad experience. The only downside (to me) is that it can be a bit noisy. But then again, that’s the Middle Eastern atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Joe Allen
Joe Allen is located in the heart of
London’s West end. In a small alley there is just a sign saying Joe Allen. When you enter you arrive in a fantastic combination of a New York and French bistro venue.
Live piano music. The
service is superb and the food fantastic. Prices are fair, though the wine is relatively expensive.
The Ivy
The Ivy’s image was that it was venue for the rich and famous. Where you had to book months is advance unless you were on the A-list or well connected. Now it is more
open to the public. Just ask your concierge and he will book you a fantastic table. The food is superb and prices are not so shocking. Actually I would say its
great value for money. And on top of that, the restaurant is
open all day till late.
Wiltons
Wiltons is a
British Icon. I had never heard of it until I was on business in London with a group of friends who frequently visited the place. It is the
epitome of fine British dining. Wiltons has a warm atmosphere and excellent service; with the typical British upper lip. Try the famous
pasta wit lobster. I am sure you will be back for it. It is
expensive but worth every penny.
Maze
Maze is centrally located on
Grosvenor Square. It’s a restaurant from the well known celebrity chef mister
Gordon Ramsey. No comment on the food and the ambience. It’s simply
a great experience to dine at Maze. Dress code is
smart casual. Prices are fair considering you eat at a restaurant of a Celebrity Chef. Try it and enjoy!
Fortnum and Mason Afternoon tea
I love
Afternoon Tea; especially scones with clotted cream. You can call me in the middle of the night for it. It’s my weakness. Afternoon Tea at an upscale institute like
Fortnum and Mason is like an afternoon in heaven. Go for it.
Petrus
Restaurant Petrus is located in the heart of
Knightsbridge. It’s a famous restaurant of British celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey. It has a
fantastic ambience and
offers superb food for a great night out with your wife or girl friend.
Or just to impress your new date.

Jamie Oliver’s Italian Kitchen
I love Jamie Oliver. He has made it. He serves a variety of food at different levels.
The Italian Kitchen is located in
Covent Garden and a great concept. It offers delicious and
authentic Italian food for a fair price. It’s always busy. You can not make reservations; you just go there and prepare for a long wait usually. The good thing, the wait is worth it.
Gary Rhodes W1 Brasserie
The first time I had dinner in the W1 Brasserie I got hooked. It’s a
stylish eating place in the Cumberland hotel supervised by British celebrity chef Gary Rhodes. Since then I eat here frequently. Whether lunch or dinner. It’s
fantastic food for a fair price. The only downside is that when it is fully booked, it gets a bit noisy. Well, I can live with that.
